Hospital Visitation

Chabad Cares Nevada’s Hospital Visitation Program brings comfort and connection to Jewish patients and their families across Northern Nevada. Volunteers, together with the Rabbi, visit regularly to offer companionship, prayers, and spiritual or emotional support. They also share holiday packages and kosher food when needed — reminding each patient that they are cared for and never alone.

Know of someone that could use a visit?

Kosher Food at Renown

Through the efforts of Chabad Cares Nevada in partnership with Renown Health, kosher food is now available at Renown Regional Medical Center. We are privileged to have coordinated staff training alongside the Director of Operations, as well as nutrition and food service personnel, in kosher protocol, helping ensure proper handling and preparation of meals for patients who observe kosher dietary laws.

Patients and families can request clearly identified, double-wrapped kosher meal entrée options, as well as a variety of additional kosher products. Requests can be made through your nurse or through the food service department. For any questions or assistance in obtaining kosher food, please contact us directly so we can help ensure your kosher needs are fully met.
