Chaplaincy

Chabad Cares Nevada proudly leads the Jewish Community Partner Response Team within the Great Basin Chaplain Corps (GBCC), serving as the Jewish partner representative in providing compassionate, culturally sensitive support to first responders, law enforcement, military personnel, hospital and hospice patients, and others in need throughout Northern Nevada. In this role, we offer peer support, crisis response, and spiritual guidance, ensuring that all those we serve—whether on the front lines or facing personal hardship—have access to resources that strengthen their well-being and resilience. Our leadership in this initiative combines professional chaplaincy, volunteer outreach, and community engagement, reflecting a deep commitment to care, connection, and service while representing the Jewish community in times of need.
